Baths in Roman Britain: The first Tony Rook Memorial Lecture

Friday, March 14, 7:45pm

Join Dr. Kris Lockyear of the UCL Institute of Archaeology for a tour of some of the most important places in Roman Britain: the baths! These structures weren’t just a place to get clean; they were also social spaces, and marvels of Roman-era construction and technology.

This lecture follows the Welwyn Archaeological Society AGM, and will take place at the United Reformed Church, Church Rd., Welwyn Garden City. All are welcome! WAS members free, non-members £3.
