More than 100 volunteers picked up a trowel in 2024 and 2025 to excavate the agricultural terraces, known as lynchets, that rise above the River Chess at Sarratt, Hertfordshire.
Dr Morrison, who is the Heritage & Archaeology Manager of the Chilterns Heritage & Archaeology Partnership (CHAP), directed the investigation in 2024/2025, and will reveal the findings, including some interesting artefacts from across the centuries.
