Archaeologist Becky Haslam will be telling us about an alternative model of Roman road infrastructure in Southwark and beyond. Recent discoveries at Brandon House and Harper Road have prompted a reappraisal of the route of Stane Street in Southwark. Could there have been a hitherto unknown road extending westwards from Watling Street towards modern Vauxhall?
