Presidentís walk 2017
Sunday 25 June 2-4.30 pm
Archaeology in the Weston Hills
The annual EHAS Presidentís Walk is to be led this year by North Herts archaeologist Keith Fitzpatrick-Matthews who will be showing us some of the fascinating archaeology of the area south of Baldock. The walk will be about 3Ĺ miles long and will include some fairly steep hills.
There is no charge and no need to book - all are welcome.
Comfortable and sturdy footwear required. Please bring a drink and wear clothing suitable for the conditions e.g. sun hat, waterproofs, etc.
Parking and start point: Park and meet in the car park to the REAR of Tesco, 58 High Street, Baldock. The walk will start at 2pm.
Directions: Tesco is off the roundabout on the junction between the B197 London Road and the High Street. Turn off the roundabout and follow the road round to the left to find the rear car park. The store postcode is SG7 6BN.

There will also be a coach trip to King's Lynn on Sat 23 Sept and a proposed visit to Hitchin Museum. Further details of these excursions will be announced when finalised.
Members are urged to support these activities which afford a chance to see sites that are rarely available, with distinguished guides. Guests are always welcome.
